Nova Twins Meet & Greet at Fingerprints Friday July 25th at 6pm

Nova Twins bring a welcome flexibility to the genre of heavy music that moves effortlessly between epic power chords, high energy pop, with hip hop elements, and fired up collaborations, including Bring Me The Horizon, Pussy Riot, Tsar B, and more. They’ve shared the stage with Foo Fighters and Muse, and they moved Tom Morello to call them “Unapologetic, fearless with their own musical and personal style, and really able to sort of challenge the conventions of what hard rock music is… Speaking of bands he was most excited to see at Glastonbury, ” Elton John said “These girls rock my world… It reminds me of Rick James a bit, Larry Graham of Central Station, Sly and the Family Stone, it’s got that kind of… Bootsy Collins [vibe].”

They’ve won the Brit Award, been nominated for the Mercury Prize, and are in town for next Weekend’s Warped Tour (they play Saturday). Happily, we’ve talked them into dropping in to meet fans, take some photos, and give us a very early listen to songs from their upcoming Marshall Records LP, Parasites & Butterflies, due out August 29th. This is something of a world premier, so please make plans to join us for this free event.
