Reissue of three Bright Eyes LPs with each accompanied by a companion EP containing newly recorded versions of songs from the original LPs

Bright Eyes have announced an extensive reissue and re-recording project with releases coming soon. The band plans to reissue all nine of their studio albums along with a Companion EP Series with additional recordings. These Companion EPs will have five new recordings of songs from the original release (often with additional talented guests), plus a cover version of an artist they found particularly inspiring at the time of the original album recording. The first set of Companions (on Opaque Gold wax) come out 5/27, with the full album reissues out 7/17.
