Artikal Sound System Acoustic In-Store Performance and Signing 2/22 at 1pm
Leading into their show at the Constellation Room in Santa Ana on Saturday the 22nd, South Florida’s Artikal Sound System will be stopping in to the shop for an action packed acoustic performance and signing. Described as a reggae band, they started out as a backing unit for a variety of Caribbean singers, and they quickly rounded things out to become a fully functioning band, including the addition of singer Logan Rex. The result is an incredibly tight band core band, and a singer steeped in both reggae and funky jazz vibes, resulting in a sound and energy that not only get the party started, but keep it going well into the night. It’s a pop/dub/ska house party, saturated in all the fun that implies. Highly recommended for fans of ska-influenced dancing, laughing unselfconsciously, and the local Ska scene (No Doubt, Save Ferris, Sublime)
