LA’s favorite sons, Chicano Batman return with Notebook Fantasy – a weighty slice of funky, psyche-y, Southern California rock and soul ready to soundtrack the summer of 2024. Drawing their bedrock inspiration from those records we all grew up on, because as unique as they are, Chicano Batman’s music is scraped from the grooves of classic Hendrix, Sly, War, and Prince, not to mention what sounds like innumerable crate digs through the underground garage and the LA punk canon, with all of those flavors combining to make a uniquely LA sounding album with the edgy excitement of a slightly too big backyard party. We are so excited to have them back at Fingerprints to celebrate this new album with a photo meet and greet on Saturday March 30th at 1pm.
